Boomtown’s last two Masterclasses, premiering tomorrow, have over 130 registrations – with a roster of named guest speakers.
The guest panel includes Katie Gray, Head of Acquisitions at UniSuper and Paul Wilkinson, Head of Investments at Spark Foundry Melbourne, as well as Moderator Cameron Knight, Victorian Director of Sales for Seven Affiliate Sales.
Gray, who joined UniSuper on Monday to lead acquisition marketing for the recently opened industrial fund, previously held senior marketing positions at iSelect, La Trobe Financial, Origin and Telstra. She led the marketing of Origin LPG when he won an MFA Award for Best partner initiative in 2016 (as well as a finalist in 2015) and also won the first B&T Regional Media Campaign of the Year Prices in 2020.
The panel will provide information on the role of regional media in their marketing mix, case studies, learnings and the successes they have had in integrating regional media into campaigns.

An industry-wide all-in-one session will be held on 21 October in the form of a 90 minute webinar, following the NGEN Plus Masterclass of the Federation of Media Australia tomorrow 14 October.
The National Education Initiative, which began in 2020, is designed to provide media professionals with a better understanding of the regional media landscape, competitive opportunities and advantages for brands, as well as tools to help plan and buy. regional advertising.
This year’s program was a great success, providing training to nearly 260 industry executives and exceeding participant targets by 72%, with an average score of 9.3 out of 10.
The 2022 education program will include a mix of webinars and face-to-face training *. Boomtown will also host tailor-made masterclasses for marketers and agencies, with content tailored to their specific challenges and opportunities.
Marketing expert Gaye Steel once again facilitates the courses, sharing her in-depth knowledge with the participants.
